Spending her childhood in Brazil, Bella grew up with music on every street corner. Always keen to pick up any instrument, and above all to sing, she penned her first song at the age of eight.
Having discovered her passion she pursued it, and in 2015 was made a finalist in the Song Academy's National Young Songwriter of the Year competition. Further success followed with Open Mic UK in 2016, as a result of which she recorded her first EP, mostly a blend of indie and folk sounds, released onto all major music platforms in October 2018.
Now spending most of her time moving between Manchester and the South West, Bella is a familiar face on the local gig scenes, often performing several shows every month, and she has plans for some new releases this year.
Bella has a varied performance history. With her classical career she performed in venues such as the Royal Festival Hall and the Barbican Concert Hall in London, as well as the Royal Albert Hall in Nottingham and the NEC in Birmingham. She has performed twice in the televised semi finals of the BBC's Songs of Praise Choir of the Year competition and was a member of the winning choir in 2015's Barnardo's Choir of the Year Competition.
As a solo singer-songwriter she has grown used to performing to a wide range of audiences - anything from gatherings of 15-20 people to crowds of 4000! With a varied selection of covers and several catchy originals, she's sure to draw in listeners.
